We are committed to meeting the day-to-day problems that older adults, and the families responsible for their care, face as they strive to maintain independent living.
September Services establishes a care team for each client which consists of a supervising Registered Nurse (RN), a Gerontologist and the client’s hourly care giver(s). This same caring team stays together with the client and family throughout our time together.
After carefully working with the client and family to find the right care giver(s), we ensure that the same care giver(s) remain with the client everyday (except for the rare occasions when the care giver cannot be present). All of the professional and care giving staff are our employees. We do not use contract labor. We carry insurance and bonding on all employees.
Each September Services client is assigned to a CareTeam consisting of a registered nurse, a gerontologist and hourly caregivers. Based on the care required, caregivers may be registered nurses (RN), licensed vocational nurses (LVN), or home health aides (HHA).
The caregivers hours are based on the needs and convenience of the client and family. Caregivers may be employed for a minimum of four (4) hours per visit to a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours per day. The CareTeam RN and gerontologist visit the client’s home on a regular basis. Their visits allow them to reassess and evaluate the client, supervise the caregivers and make progress reports to the client, the family and the client’s primary physician.

- Assistance with bathing, dressing and medication
- Care while a family member is at work
- Assistance with light housekeeping, cooking, and driving to appointments
- Round-the-clock comprehensive nursing care
- Companionship for the more active older adult

September Services goes beyond the restrictions set for medicare to offer aging adults long-term custodial nursing care. We are able to tailor all services to meet the specific needs and requests of the client and the client family. Whatever is the best medicine – whether it is an outing to a concert or walking the beloved family dog – we see that our client receives just that.
Committment to Customer Service
With September Services, an active employee answers the telephone line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We DO NOT use automated answering machine systems, nor do we employ the use of an answering service.
