Spring is here and different fruits are coming back in season. Not only tasting better than the winter selections, but less expensive as well. While any fruit is good for you, there are some that are better than others because of the amount of antioxidants they contain. According to WebMD, the fruits with the highest levels of antioxidants are:
* wild blueberries
* cultivated blueberries
* cranberries
* dried prunes
* raspberries
* strawberries
Cooking any of them may result in a lower antioxidant count than eating them raw, but any way you increase your intake is a winning solution. So add some strawberries to your salad next time. Or try a blueberry sauce on your pancakes. Eating well never tasted so good!
