With Halloween fast-approaching, many of us have children or grandchildren that love dressing up for tricks and treats.  For even more excitement, here’s another activity for you and the kids.  Every day from now through November 2nd, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is hosting a Great Pumpkin Festival.  From 9am to 5pm, you can enjoy strolling through the gardens, the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, listen to live music, and drink some hot apple cider.  Tickets are available at Tom Thumb locations or you can call 214-515-6500 for more information.  The cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors 65 years and older, $5 for children ages 3-12, and free for kids 2 years and younger.  Parking is $5.  The website also has recipes for fall-inspired flavors.  Enjoy!
